Tasmanian Political Opinion
In a recent survey, all members of the Tasmanian Legislative CouncIl and House of Assembly were
invited to give their opinion on the objectives of the
DwDTas Legislative Charter.
To keep things simple they were asked to choose between the following four options:
(A) Support of the charter
(B) Support but with some qualifications
(C) Opposed to the charter
(D) Decline to answer/no response

How did your elected representative respond? Each received up to 4 emails requesting a
reply and yet many still declined to answer or gave no response. If yours failed to
reveal their opinion on our Charter, why not write and urge them to take an
interest in these issues and to share their views with those that elected them.
