Our organisation played a significant role in getting voluntary assisted dying legislation passed in Tasmania in 2021 after many years of lobbying and working with members of Parliament, including Mike Gaffney MLC, who worked very hard for this law.

Dying with Dignity Tasmania was involved in the implementation of the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021 and will play a key role in the review of the Act in 2025.
